Getting Into the Sambadromo

Firstly, after arriving at your section entrance, there is a security point where they will check you for weapons and such.

Then, a worker will take your pass, and scan it and let you in through the turnstyle.

 

 

 

Once you're on the other side of the turnstyle, you'll have a chance to buy food and drinks and use the washroom.  If you are in an assigned seating section, there are workers to help direct you to your seat. 

 

In the below photo, the orange seats are the assigned seating sections.  You don't need to arrive early for these.  Arrive around 9:30pm.  Your seat is guaranteed.

 

Atop are the general seats.  Best to come a few hours ahead on the First League nights to get a good spot, or you may end up standing.
